Unlike many investigative agencies which would like to be known as having all encompassing areas of coverage anywhere in the United States, the R & D Agency is proud to have focused it's efforts on effectively serving one general area: The Upper Midwest

Many of these national firms claim to have offices in every state in the Union, when, in fact, upon closer examination they either subcontract out areas where they have no presence or they send investigators from state to state. This policy of inserting investigators into communities they have no knowledge or familiarity doesn't serve the client well and rarely result in top quality outcomes.

Hiring subcontractors is a bad idea, and one R & D refuses to engage in.  Our investigators are all R & D employees. They are licensed and insured under R & D. They are supervised and directed by R & D personnel, and they are held to a higher standard with each assignment.

We don't claim to provide national coverage, and we don't profess to be the largest agency of this type.  We simply provide outstanding coverage in the areas we service.  We are accountable directly to our clients rather to an intermediary who's hired us to help their client.

Our primary service areas include the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Colorado, and Iowa.  When our clients have needs in states outside our service areas, we'll recommend a reputable agency to assist them.
